WITHINDLENS is a Nollywood entertainment platform dedicated to celebrating African storytelling through movies, music, and editorial content. We bring together the best of Nollywood cinema, contemporary African music, spotlight features on upcoming artists and filmmakers, and an active blog covering industry news and culture.
No — you can browse movies, music, blogs, spotlights, and reviews without registering. However, to leave a review or access personalised features, you will need a free account.
Click Sign Up in the navigation bar and fill in your full name, email address, and a password of at least 8 characters. Registration is instant and completely free — no email verification is required to get started.
Yes, the platform is free to use. There are no subscription tiers, no paywalls, and no hidden charges. Some movies may link to external ticketing pages for theatrical releases, but streaming content on WITHINDLENS itself is always free.
Movies, Music & Content
Getting the most from the entertainment library.
Go to Movies, browse or search for a title, and click on its card. The movie detail page will show a description, genre, and an embedded video player. Click the play button to begin streaming.
For the best streaming experience we recommend Chrome, Firefox, or Edge on a connection of at least 5 Mbps.
Some movies in our library are current theatrical releases. Where available, a Get Tickets button will appear on the movie's detail page and will take you to an external ticketing partner to complete your purchase. WITHINDLENS does not process ticket payments directly.
Visit the Music page and click any track card. An audio player will load with playback controls. You can play, pause, and seek through the track — no download or external app required.
You must be logged in to submit a review. Once signed in, go to the Reviews page, choose a movie or music track, select a star rating, write your comment, and click Submit Review. Your review will be visible to other users immediately.
Spotlight is our curated feature section that highlights emerging Nollywood actors, directors, musicians, and industry stories. Think of it as an editorial lens focused on the people shaping African entertainment — interviews, profiles, and behind-the-scenes features.
No — WITHINDLENS is a streaming platform. Content is not available for download. All movies and music are streamed directly in your browser to respect the rights of the creators and rights holders.
Account & Profile
Managing your WITHINDLENS account.
Click Login in the navigation bar, enter the email address and password you used when registering, and click Sign In. Your session remains active for 2 hours of inactivity before you'll need to log in again.
At this time, password resets are handled by our support team. Please contact us with the email address on your account and the subject line "Password Reset". We'll respond within 24 hours. Self-service password reset via email will be available in a future update.
Yes. To request account deletion, please contact us directly. We will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 7 business days. Please note that submitted reviews will also be removed.
We take your privacy seriously. We only collect the information needed to run the platform — your name, email, and hashed password. We do not sell your data to third parties. For full details on how we handle your information, please read our Privacy Policy.

Slow page loads are usually caused by a slow internet connection. A few things that can help:
Make sure no other large downloads or streams are running in the background.
Try connecting via a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi.
Clear your browser cache to remove any outdated files.

You're using the exact email address you registered with (check for typos).
Your password is correct — passwords are case-sensitive.
Cookies are enabled in your browser (our login system requires session cookies).
If you've forgotten your password, please contact us for a manual reset.
Not yet — WITHINDLENS is currently a web platform only. The site is fully responsive, so it works well on smartphones and tablets through your mobile browser. A dedicated app is planned for a future release.
